My Story

Hi I’m Anna,

I live in Liverpool with my husband and four children.

I’m a Certified Infant Sleep Consultant as well as a qualified Occupational Therapist.

My passion for understanding sleep came as a result of my own sleep battles in my younger years.  From a teenager through to motherhood, managing sleep deprivation became increasingly hard, as I juggled family life, relationships, and the need to be a present mum.  The most difficult period of my life was navigating newborn twins while raising a strong-willed toddler. At times, I felt lost, isolated, and helpless—overwhelmed by exhaustion.

I have personal experience of silent reflux, feed/sleep associations, frequent night wakings, split nights and understand all the emotions and challenges that these issues bring.

Despite endless scrolling, umpteen google searches at 4am and well-intentioned advice from other mums in my corner, I felt defeated and confused. I also felt a deep sense of guilt that I didn’t know how to fix it. My brain would start to overthink… Surely my motherly instincts should have taken over by now? How come Karen’s baby from playgroup has slept through since birth and I can’t get even get a few hours stretch? Either I’m doing something wrong or my babies are broken!

I regretfully remember my husband taking our twins for a drive during the early hours of the morning, as I was so sleep deprived that I had started to hallucinate!  Looking back, what would have really helped and eased my anxieties, was to have that single voice cut through all the noise. To have that person give me a structured plan and guide me through such an exhausting period in my life. I should have reached out to a Sleep Consultant! I didn’t and unfortunately my mental and physical health suffered.

Being a Certified Infant Sleep Consultant partnered with my experience as an Occupational Therapist, enables me to consider how sleep issues impact both the child and wider family, emotionally, mentally and physically.

How can I help?

A woman has blonde hair styled in loose waves, sitting cross-legged on a cream-colored chair, holding a mug in one hand and looking at her phone with a smile. She is wearing light-colored loungewear and is in a room with white walls, sheer curtains, and a decorative vase with dried plants.

I’ve struggled, I’ve been there and now I can be your helping hand, your cheerleader and support.

When working with me you can be assured of care, kindness and encouragement, free from judgement.

As an Occupational Therapist, I have worked with countless clients, along with their families. Through completing assessments, goal setting and carrying out interventions, I have been able to help clients and their families face various hurdles and difficulties affecting their daily life.

Within my Sleep Consultancy, I do the same. I assess your little one’s sleep situation, listen to you regarding your families sleep goals, create a detailed and bespoke sleep plan and also provide you with daily support to implement it.

    “I can’t recommend Anna enough!!
Our 12 month old went from constantly waking through the night and only being rocked to sleep, to sleeping independently and through the night in less than 3 weeks.
Anna put a full routine together and gave constant support and encouragement to me, which was everything I needed. Anna knew when it was time to change up the routine when it wasn’t working for our son, and helped us through all the tricky parts that we wouldn’t have been able to do without her.
I was doing a lot of nights alone and I’ve gone from dreading bedtime to being able to enjoy my evenings again!
    Thank you for everything”

Anna has totally transformed our evenings! We had been struggling with our 4 year old's sleep for over a year but with Anna's guidance and support we were in a new routine within days- we couldn't believe it!"

My 9 month old baby was not sleeping more than 2 hours straight at night, was having periods of time awake in the middle of the night, having random naps and was over tired all the time.
Anna made it so simple and clear- she came up with a plan that fitted around my personal choices and designed a gentle approach. Within 2 weeks he was sleeping through the night with just 1 feed and after a few more tweaks suggested by Anna he started sleeping right through the night and having 2 regular day time naps.
I’m so grateful for all the support Anna gave us- she was very attentive and responded to all my questions quickly. I would highly recommend her services.

“Every time I’ve needed advice or just someone to talk to about the challenges of being a mum, Anna has always been there with guidance and support. She’s so kind, understanding, and knowledgeable about sleep and babies. I really value the time she takes to listen and offer helpful advice, it makes such a difference. I really find sleep well mum such a huge comfort to me especially when times are hard with the girls sleep. Highly recommend!!”
