Are you Exhausted?

Hi I’m Anna Wells.

A Certified Infant Sleep Consultant, Occupational Therapist, Wife and Mum of four, including twins.   

I have personal experience of sleep deprivation and fully understand all the emotions and challenges this brings, whilst trying to juggle family life. It’s utterly exhausting and I recognise how it affects not only your physical health but mental health too, leaving you with little energy or motivation to function! Then on top of that, there is the huge burden of ‘Mum guilt’ and if you’re anything like me, that leads to a downwards spiral of overthinking. I also appreciate how overwhelming and confusing it can be to figure it all out with so much conflicting sleep advice out there!

As a result, I’ve been inspired to help other families with their little one’s sleep struggles. I have a toolkit of effective sleep training methods and work closely with families to tailor a bespoke sleep plan, addressing their infant’s sleep needs and ultimately helping to achieve their goals.   

Being a Certified Infant Sleep Consultant partnered with my experience as an Occupational Therapist, enables me to consider how sleep issues impact both the child and wider family, emotionally, mentally and physically.

FAQ’s

  • I have a wide knowledge of all sleep training methods and I am always guided by you, your parenting values and sleep goals.

    I do not use ‘Cry It Out’ where you would leave your child to cry without returning.

  • All infants are different however it is unlikely there will be no tears. Infants cry as a response to change and we are making positive and healthy changes to their sleep habits.

    We will never ignore tears and will always respond!

  • Not at all. We can still make improvements to sleep whilst continuing to breastfeed!

  • Certainly. We can still work on your little one's sleep if co-sleeping or sharing a room. However, If you want to move away from this, I can help too!

  • You can definitely Google a lot! However, as a sleep consultant, I look at the whole picture around routines, activity, sleep and feeds.

    I like to get to know each family so I can tailor my approach to meet their specific goals, needs, parenting style and values.

    I cut through the chaos of conflicting information online offering, support, guidance, accountability and encouragement.

  • All little ones are unique however, if you are consistent with the plan, you may see improvements in a matter of days.
